 Most of the existing ground floor building dates back to 1779. The upper storey was added in 1860 and since then the Inn has been extended progressively.The adjoining old farm buildings have been converted into wedding and conference venues retaining their original character and offering all the facilities required. Today, gracious old oaks, flanked by towering poplars and one of the largest blue gum trees in South Africa, spread their sheltering branches over the historic Inn. Beautiful place with friendly, professional staff- Can stay here for ever! Gud Venter. 23-29 /03/2012 This is a place to consider if you need to wind down. What an atmosphere! Come see for yourself! Always a rejuvenating experience. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Service is superb. All in all a wonderful mini ‘get away’ . Been coming here for the past 23 years. Most enjoyable way to spend 51st wedding anniversary. | Our stay was very pleasant. People are helpful and polite, the entire facility has a delightful ambiance- most enjoyable. What an amazing place to visit. A hidden gem. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay. Awesome. Will definitely recommend to others. As usual, an excellent dinner/dance and wonderful weekend.
